Reno/Harvey Joint Fire Dist. #2

Reno-Harvey County Joint Fire District #2 stationed in Buhler, KS and provides fire and EMS protection to Northeastern Reno County and Northwestern Harvey County. The Buhler Fire Department was formed sometime in the 1800’s, then in the 1960’s a county department was formed running out of the same station. In the 1980’s Reno-Harvey Joint Fire District #2 was formed ending the two separate departments. The department has 23 volunteers and makes on average of 60 fire calls and 120 EMS runs per year.
